As with every season, I’m introducing you to a new animal rights organization this winter. This time, I wanted to highlight one that’s accessible to as many people as possible, internationally.
Anonymous for the Voiceless is a global organization aimed at raising public awareness about the plight of farmed animals.
Their approach is peaceful: volunteers worldwide gather in city centers to organize “Cubes of Truth,” a formation of masked individuals representing the movement, holding screens displaying footage from farms and slaughterhouses. Other volunteers, unmasked, are there to kindly answer questions from passersby.
If you’re hesitant to take the leap into activism, I think this is a great first step. You can be part of the “cube” team while remaining anonymous. It’s also a wonderful way to meet other vegans in your area.
To find the Cube of Truth nearest to you, visit: https://www.anonymousforthevoiceless.org or check out their Facebook groups.
