In a large pot, cook the apples over medium heat with 250 mL of water. When it starts to boil, lower the heat to a simmer. Let it simmer for an hour and a half without a lid, stirring occasionally.
Add the sugar and cinnamon, then turn off the heat.
You can blend the applesauce if you want, or leave it as is! Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
