Hot Sunflower Seed Dip in Bread Bowl

Hot Sunflower Seed Dip in Bread Bowl
For: 4-6 serv.Difficulty: EasyPreparation: 10 minCooking: 15 min

I’ve had this idea on my recipe list for a year now, haha… A warm dip for appetizers, served in a big hollowed-out bread bowl you can eat along with it. But I could never quite find that extra special touch to complete it! And I think sunflower seeds were the perfect idea to make it different from the usual dips we see 🥰

Plus, sunflower seeds are a great source of vitamin B, E, copper, iron, and zinc… super healthy for you! The ones from Prana are organic ✨

There’s always a little promo code too—15% off everything on the Prana site with the code PATATEETCORNICHON 😍😍

  • In your blender, blend the sunflower seeds with hot water, cider, tapioca starch, nutritional yeast, vinegar, and salt.
  • Cut off the top of the bread loaf and hollow out the center. Remove the crumb. Pour the dip into the bread bowl and sprinkle with shredded vegan cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at 355°F (180°C).
  • Cut the pieces you removed from the bread, including the top and the crumb, into cubes. Serve the bread bowl in the middle of the table with the bread cubes and fondue picks so everyone can dig in!
