Cut the pineapple into small cubes and crush, in a mixing glass, with a muddler (or whatever you have on hand). Add the basil leaves and crush again to extract the flavors and the pineapple juice properly.
Add ice cubes, followed by fresh squeezed lemon juice. Then add the rum and limoncello.
Remove the ice water from your cocktail glasses (to avoid diluting the drink). Then pour the cocktail through a fine strainer.
Garnish with a slice of lemon, pineapple, and a basil leaf. Serve immediately.
