Starting the new year, we're not playing amateurs here. And since we have to set an example for the rest of the year, we've decided to send you some seriously chocolatey goodness, with a big ol' cookie inside. If you're not happy with that, well, you can always go steam some veggies in the microwave ;-) And if you ever get fed up with detoxing, don't worry — we'll always be here to offer you some deliciously fatty comfort food!

  • -cookie (dry cookies, chocolate, speculoos...) 300 (g)
  • -plant-based margarine 130 (g)
  • -soy cream 350 (g)
  • -dark chocolate 200 (g)
  • -orange 1
  • -cinnamon

  • The day before (or at least 4 hours in advance), prepare the chocolate mousse: whisk the soy cream to emulsify it. Melt the chocolate. Pour it onto the cream while whisking vigorously. Place in the fridge for at least 4 hours. The mousse will be liquid, but as it cools, it will harden and trap the cream's bubbles to form a mousse.
  • Prepare the biscuit base: preheat the oven to 400°F. Crush the biscuits and mix in the margarine with your lil' hands. You can add more if the mix seems too crumbly. The goal is to get a kind of crumble. Press this mixture into the bottom of your pastry ring or a mold. Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Prepare the oranges: heat a small saucepan with a glass of water and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Add the cinnamon. Bring to a boil and then remove from heat. Peel the orange completely and slice into rounds. Place them in the cinnamon syrup to marinate.
  • Once the biscuit has cooled completely, pour the chocolate mousse on top, then garnish with orange slices.
