Iced Latte with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon

Iced Latte with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon
For: 1 serv.Difficulty: EasyPreparation: 5 min

Are you the type who goes for iced lattes in the summer and hot lattes in the winter? I drink a bit of both iced lattes and hot lattes all year round; it’s different cravings, I think, so there’s no season 😅 I admit my coffees are usually without sugar. I wish I liked those super funky drinks from Starbucks, you know, but they gross me out pretty quickly, especially in the morning. In the afternoon, sometimes I crave something a bit different like this, so here it’s with brown sugar and cinnamon—nice and comforting 😍

We shake the espresso with the sugar and crushed ice, mainly to dissolve the sugar but also to get that foam that helps make the drink nice and creamy once mixed with the milk!

I use Minor Figures barista oat milk daily.

  • Brew the espresso.
  • Blend half of the ice cubes to make crushed ice.
  • In a jar with a lid or a shaker, mix the espresso, sugar, cinnamon, and crushed ice. Shake to dissolve the sugar and create a nice froth.
  • Add the rest of the ice cubes.
  • Froth the oat milk with an electric frother. Then pour it over your coffee! That's it.
