Endive and Pear Salad

Endive and Pear Salad
For: 2 serv.Difficulty: EasyPreparation: 10 min

How's it going, my little one? Does the weather seem weird at your place too (like, one day you're dying of heat, the next day you dress lightly and surprise... it's 16°C)? That's kind of what happened to me this morning, and it was slightly annoying :-). But never mind, I've put together a salad that's perfect for almost the whole year round!

Don't worry, I'm not a fan of endive either (who likes endives anyway?). Alright, there must be people who buy them, but I'm sure they do it begrudgingly... Anyway, in this particular salad, the bitterness of the endive is offset by the sweetness of the pears. Yeah, I promise! And with the walnuts and radishes to add some crunch, it's quick and delicious.

  • Clean the endives. Remove the outer leaves, which are often damaged. Then separate all the remaining leaves into a salad bowl.
  • Peel the pears and then cut them into small cubes. Clean the radishes and slice them into rounds.
  • In a pan, melt the margarine and sauté the pears and walnuts for a few minutes until golden.
  • Prepare the vinaigrette: mix the oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper together.
  • Mix all the ingredients, add the dressing, and enjoy!
