So it's true that we're not being super original, but chocolate + peanut + caramel... it's just too good :D We hesitated between the brownie and cookie versions, it was a very (too) difficult choice, believe us, we would have preferred not to choose, but sometimes in life... well! In fact, we have nothing to say in particular except 1. this recipe is awesome, you need to try it because it's our best brownie to date 2. here's our other brownie recipe, for even more brownie goodness in your life 3. here's our Instagram account, because it's cool. That's all, kisses.

  • Make the caramel: Heat the soy milk. Heat the sugar in a saucepan, without water, on high heat. Wait for it to caramelize (without using any utensils) and tilt the saucepan from time to time so that the unmelted sugar mixes with the caramel. Once everything is caramelized, pour the hot soy milk off the heat and add the coconut oil. Put the saucepan back on the heat so that everything melts together, you can mix with a wooden spoon. Pour the caramel into a bowl and set aside in the fridge.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Mash the banana and mix it with the oil and melted chocolate. Add 200 mL of water.
  • Mix the flour with sugar, salt, yeast, and powdered cocoa. Pour the previous mixture to combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and add the vinegar. Whisk to achieve a smooth batter. Add crushed or whole nuts and peanuts (you can also add chocolate chips).
  • Pour the batter into a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Drop dollops of caramel and peanut butter all over the surface. Using the tip of a knife, gently swirl the caramel and peanut butter into the batter to create a marbled effect. Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into portions!
