Ta-da: another burger recipe on Éline's table, let me know if you're tired of it ;-)

But for now, let's switch to cocktail party mode to impress your friends with some vegan junk food: vegan sliders with carrot and coral lentil patties, hummus (as usual), onion compote (again...) and a cherry tomato (the cherry on the burger)!

  • -coral lentils 80 (g)
  • -mini burger buns 12

  • -olive oil
  • -cherry tomatoes 6

  • -all-purpose flour 3 (tbsp)
The hummus
  • -lemon 0.5
  • -cooked chickpeas 150 (g)
  • -tahini 1 (tbsp)
  • -soy cream 50 (mL)

  • In a pot of cold salted water, add the coral lentils. Bring to a boil and let cook for 8 minutes. Drain the lentils.
  • Peel and grate the carrots. Mix them with the lentils and flour to create a dough. Season to taste. Shape into small patties and cook them in a pan with a little bit of oil.
  • For the hummus: blend the chickpeas with lemon juice, tahini, and soy cream. Season to taste.
  • For the onion compote: Peel the 2 onions and slice them. Cook them in a covered saucepan with a little olive oil and a splash of water. When they have a nice color, stop the cooking.
  • Toast the burger buns. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
  • Place, in your sliced bread, some hummus, a patty, onion compote, and a halved cherry tomato.
