I enjoy energy balls as a little something to snack on in the afternoon, or before heading for a workout. But I'm too lazy to use a blender (I actually don't have one ๐
) and am tired of date-based snacks; they're expensive, they taste too sweet, and I'd rather save them for making tagines!
So I decided to try making energy balls with some simple ingredients, without the need for blending. I drew inspiration from the flavors of a carrot cake! I've tasted something similar at a cafe in Lyon. Carrots, a hint of spice, vanilla, shredded coconut, and nuts๐๐.
