I think we've reached the next level of golden milk π
In the first version here, it's made with turmeric and ginger powder, so it's perfect for whipping up a quick drink with what you have in your pantry.
But here, I'm sharing the paste recipe that I make at Muscade for my amazing barista colleagues. Since we really love golden milk, we wanted to create a unique, comforting recipe with a complex taste. We also wanted it to be made with fresh turmeric and ginger to better harness the benefits of these ingredients. After all, this drink is very effective against winter colds and throat inflammations! And if you drink it regularly in the long term, it has many other properties for your digestion, acne, skin, fighting bad cholesterol, and preventing certain cancers. It's super fun, huh π
So yeah, there are quite a few different spices in this recipe, which gives it its special taste. Of course, the essentials are turmeric, ginger, and pink pepper. The rest is a bit more optional if you want a classic golden milk (but super important if you want it to taste like HEAVEN π).
