Little tofu nuggets made chicken-style in just 5 minutes of preparation - now that's a dream come true! Toasted sesame oil and nutritional yeast (known as alimentary yeast in Quebec) are truly the two ingredients that give this dish its "roasted chicken" flavor. I use this tofu in sandwiches, pita breads, fajitas, salads, vegetable stir-fries, wraps... you name it!
With your hands, tear the block of tofu into irregular pieces (mine are about 2 cm by 2 cm, but it doesn't need to be perfect!).
In a mixing bowl, combine the tofu with all the other ingredients.
Spread everything evenly on a baking sheet and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 30 minutes! That's all. You can use this chicken-style tofu in wraps, salads, stir-fries, fajitas, sandwiches...
NotesFor a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of soy sauce !
