We've brought out the autumn recipes, cinnamon, vanilla, and all that jazz to prepare for you some vegan cinnamon rolls, or cinnamon swirls, if you will... (speak English, please).

Plus, since we know our explanations can sometimes be... vague, there's a video to show you the steps ;) So hurry up, get to your stoves!

10/01/17: Quick update, we decided to change the dough recipe for an even softer result and to keep the rolls from hardening the next day ;) So the video above no longer matches the recipe, but we're leaving it for you in case you want to see the steps in action!

The brioche dough
  • -all-purpose flour 520 (g)
  • -sugar 120 (g)
  • -fresh yeast 20 (g)
  • -coconut oil 75 (g)
  • -coconut milk 300 (mL)
  • -salt
The interior
  • -cinnamon 2 (tbsp)
  • -sugar 3 (tbsp)
  • -coconut oil 60 (g)

  • Dissolve the yeast in warm milk.
  • Combine the flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Add the milk and yeast, then the melted coconut oil. Knead for about ten minutes. Then let rise for 1 hour under a damp cloth in a slightly warm place.
  • Mix all the interior ingredients (oil, cinnamon, sugar).
  • Deflate the brioche dough and roll it out on a floured work surface, thin enough to form a large rectangle. Don't hesitate to add more flour if the dough is too sticky.
  • Spread the cinnamon mixture evenly all over, and then roll up the brioche dough on itself to form a log. Cut out slices about 3 cm wide and place them, cut sides facing up, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Allow to rise a second time, for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F), then bake for 18 minutes. You can make a glaze by mixing powdered sugar with a little water to drizzle over your rolls, but they'll be a bit sweeter, naturally!
