The blondie has the texture of a brownie but without the chocolate, made with brown sugar (though honestly, I didn't have any this time, so I substituted with white sugar – it works just as well). Often, white chocolate is added. Here, I decided to pair it with in-season Quebec strawberries 😍
I make homemade white chocolate with just cocoa butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. I have a recipe here, but I’ve changed my method a bit. I no longer use powdered milk because I can't find any near me that dissolves well. So now I use equal parts cocoa butter and powdered sugar, and I add a spoonful of vanilla paste.
