Vegan Tortellinis with Rosé Sauce

Here's another recipe that I created for my ready-to-cook service boiterepot.ca 😍 I use vegan tortellini from Verdi, which are handmade in Montreal, but you can also find delicious ones from a well-known industrial brand in large supermarkets!

  • -yellow onion 1
  • -tomatoes 2
  • -neutral oil 1 (tbsp)
  • -Crushed tomatoes 250 (mL)
  • -vegan tortellinis 400 (g)
  • -soy cream 250 (mL)
  • -salt
  • -pepper

  • Peel and thinly slice the onion. Dice the tomatoes.
  • In a saucepan, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Sweat the onion in it.
  • When it begins to brown, add the tomatoes. Allow to cook for about 8 minutes.
  • Pour in the crushed tomatoes and cook, with a lid, for an additional 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In the meantime, heat a pot filled with water. When it boils, cook the tortellinis in it for 5 minutes, then drain.
  • Pour the cooked tortellinis into the tomato sauce, add the soy cream, and then adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper! Serve.
