Amaretto and Earl Grey Tea Cocktail

Amaretto and Earl Grey Tea Cocktail
For: 2 cupsDifficulty: EasyPreparation: 10 min

If you follow us a bit on Instagram stories, you must know that I make cocktails at least 3 nights a week at home haha... I love it and it always makes the evening a bit special even if it's often ;) And amaretto is one of my favorite flavors in the world! Paired with Earl Grey tea and a touch of orange acidity in this cocktail, I love it even more.

As for the neutral soda, it's simply a sweetened sparkling water, it can be lemon-flavored like Sprite for example (because let's agree that this stuff doesn't taste anything like lemon... ;) ).

  • Prepare the Earl Grey syrup. Bring 50 mL of water to a boil, remove from heat and add the tea and sugar to the water. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain. Let cool.
  • Place ice cubes in 2 cocktail glasses to chill them.
  • Squeeze half of the orange. With the other half, cut a few slices for decoration.
  • In a shaker, add ice cubes. Pour in the amaretto, Earl Grey syrup, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Shake.
  • Remove the ice cubes from the glasses, which should be very cold, and pour the mixture from the shaker, straining out most of the ice cubes.
  • Pour each soda into each glass to complete and finish your cocktails! Add a few slices of orange for decoration.
