  • Optional: toast the cashew nuts (or sunflower seeds) and sesame seeds in the oven for 15 minutes, or in a pan for 5-6 minutes. It adds flavor but it's not mandatory for this recipe.
  • Blend all the ingredients together in a blender until clumps of powder start to appear, that's the sign that it's blended enough!
  • Transfer to an airtight container and store for up to one month at room temperature. I sprinkle it on my pasta dishes, gratins, risottos... a little bit of everywhere actually!

NotesNote: I choose steamed shelled cashews because the others are shelled by hand and their corrosive substance is very harmful to the fingers of the workers! Another note: you can add other flavors to this condiment, such as spices, onion powder, dried herbs...
