It's Christmas! Well, almost... but it's time to get in the mood, don't you think? So let's indulge in Christmas carols, Christmas hot chocolates, Christmas movies, Christmas trees, Christmas presents, Christmas candles, Christmas recipes... and Christmas orangettes, of course.
If you don't know what orangettes are (you must be from another planet, but we love you anyway), they are candied orange peels dipped in chocolate. When the chocolate cools, it forms a crunchy coating around the orange peel, and it's super delicious :-D!
It's often recommended to choose untreated oranges since we're going to eat the peel... But at the same time, we're going to blanch the peels in boiling water three times, so we think that, thanks to this process (which removes bitterness), we will also remove pesticides, right? We're not quite sure... If you know the answer, please don't hesitate to leave us a little comment to help us out :-)!
