  • -vegetable broth 100 (mL)
  • -ketchup 3 (tbsp)
  • -maple syrup 1 (tbsp)
  • -teriyaki sauce 3 (tbsp)
  • -mustard 1 (tbsp)
  • -paprika 1 (tbsp)
For the marinade
  • -teriyaki sauce 4 (tbsp)
  • -neutral oil 3 (tbsp)

  • Prepare the seitan: in a mixing bowl, combine the gluten flour and paprika. Add the water, ketchup, teriyaki sauce, and mustard. Mix well and knead by hand to form an even ball.
  • Cut the seitan into small cubes (about 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm).
  • Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil.
  • Boil the seitan pieces in the pot of water for 20 minutes.
  • Drain, then skewer all the pieces on kebab sticks.
  • Mix the marinade ingredients.
  • Brush the skewers with the marinade. Let them marinate for as long as you can (between 5 minutes and an entire night).
  • Grill the skewers on the hot barbecue for about 4 minutes on each side!
