You can also swap out the nuts and oats for a different filling to switch things up.

  • -plant-based margarine 210 (g)
  • -sugar 200 (g)
  • -soy milk 50 (mL)
  • -baking soda 0.5 (tsp)
  • -all-purpose flour 400 (g)
  • -walnuts 80 (g)
  • -oat flakes 25 (g)
for the icing
  • -icing sugar 5 (tbsp)
  • -water 1 (tbsp)

  • Preheat the oven to 355°F (180°C).
  • Whisk together the margarine and sugar.
  • Pour 1 serv.: Pour in the soy milk and the baking soda, then mix!
  • Add the wheat flour. Mix to form a dough.
  • Add the walnuts and oat flakes and mix one last time!
  • Roll out the dough and cut into 8 triangles. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 23 minutes!
  • For the glaze: mix the powdered sugar and water. Apply it onto the cooled scones.
