Dates-chocolate-banana bars

Dates-chocolate-banana bars
For: 4 serv.Difficulty: EasyPreparation: 10 minFridge: 30 min

I've seen this kind of bars everywhere on social medias recently! The idea is to create a date base, slightly spread out. And then you add the toppings of your choice before closing it with chocolate 😍 it's crunchy, soft inside... incredible!
For my version, I went for bananas and tahini caramel.

  • Open the dates in half to remove the pit.
  • Place them side by side on a sheet of parchment paper and cover them with another sheet. Using a rolling pin, flatten everything.
  • Remove the top sheet of parchment paper. Cut the banana in slices and place them over the entire surface of the dates.
  • In a bowl, mix the tahini and the maple syrup. Spread the mixture on the banana slices.
  • Melt the chocolate with coconut oil to liquefy it. Then pour on the entire surface.
  • Add a pinch of salt on the chocolate and place in the freezer to harden. Break in small snacks and keep it in the fridge up to 3 days.
