I've been a bit overwhelmed since my vacation and, as always, creating content for Patate & Cornichon took a back seat 😣. Yesterday was my day set aside for it! But I had to handle a little unexpected issue at Muscade and when I got back, I cried like a baby πŸ˜…. Then I remembered that it's no big deal, we're not curing cancer here! There will be content when I have the time!

So that was my vibe while photographing this recipe πŸ˜…. By the way, the total lack of styling in this photo perfectly reflects the “who cares” attitude πŸ˜¬πŸ˜›.

Little sandwiches kind of like tuna-mayonnaise, but with chickpeas instead 🌻.

I used to make these a lot when I was a teenager: tuna / mayo / corn sandwiches! And I really rediscovered that memory with this recipe πŸ₯°.

  • -cooked chickpeas 260 (g)
  • -cooked corn 130 (g)
  • -balsamic vinegar 1 (tbsp)
  • -fresh chives 0.25 (bunch)
  • -salt
  • -pepper
  • -sandwich bread 8 (slices)

  • In a mixing bowl: mash the chickpeas with a potato masher. It doesn't have to be perfectly mashed, it's up to you!
  • Add the mayonnaise and corn. Then add the vinegar and chopped chives. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place your filling and lettuce on your slices of bread. Close up your sandwiches and cut them into 4! It's ready!
