For this recipe, it's very simple: you take some milk, you take some Nesquik, and voilà! It's ready! Are you happy?
No, we're just kidding, our hot chocolate is slightly cooler than that ;-) ! In fact, we were inspired by the very good book by Erica Bauermeister, The School of Flavors. In this novel, this hot chocolate cures the heroine's mother of her confinement in books, so it's kind of a magical recipe :-D ! At Patate & Cornichon, we are convinced of the incredible effects that cooking can have on people, so we wanted to try this magical hot chocolate. Vegan version, of course.
If, like us, you want to accompany it with these little chestnut shortbread cookies, we give you the recipe of Eline's best friend, Oanh: mix 200g of chestnut flour with a pinch of salt and 60g of sugar. Add 100g of margarine in pieces and crumble between your fingers. Add a tablespoon of warm water to form a roll. Wrap it in plastic wrap and let it set in the fridge. Cut slices from your roll and bake for 10-12 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
