In case you're living under a rock and you don't know what it is, here's a reminder: basically, you take some old stale bread (sounds appealing right? ;-) ) and you let it soak in a milk-based mixture, flavored with whatever you fancy! Then, you brown your bread slices in a pan and enjoy them as a snack or breakfast spread with jam, maple syrup, or just sugar. You can also make it into a beautiful dessert by pairing it with a mandarin compote and sorbet!
For this late summer, we flavored our vegan French toast with allspice, but you can use vanilla or cinnamon if you prefer :-D!
