  • -coconut oil 60 (g)
  • -apple cider vinegar 20 (mL)
  • -maple syrup 60 (mL)
  • -baking soda 0.5 (tsp)
  • -sugar 50 (g)
  • -all-purpose flour 280 (g)
  • -salt 1 (tsp)
  • -baking powder 0.5 (sachet)
  • -dark chocolate 120 (g)
  • -crushed hazelnuts 75 (g)
  • -vanilla extract 1 (tsp)

  • Mash the bananas. Add the plant-based milk, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vinegar.
  • Next, add the flour, sugar, baking soda, yeast, and salt. Mix with a spatula.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Divide the dough in two (not equally, a bit more on one side than the other).
  • Melt the chocolate and add it to the smaller portion of the dough. Add the vanilla to the larger half of the dough.
  • Lightly oil your loaf pan. Pour a layer of vanilla batter. Place dollops of chocolate batter spaced evenly along the length of the loaf. Cover with the vanilla batter and continue alternating layers until both batters are finished. Sprinkle the top with crushed hazelnuts.
  • Bake for 45 minutes (check the cooking by inserting the tip of a knife, if it comes out dry, it's done).
