Oh, a marble cake! This is just a simple little recipe that you can reinvent however you want, like with chestnut cream, chocolate chips, pecans, spreadable paste, salted caramel... plenty of not-too-shabby options ;)
And hey, did you notice that you can find a recipe every day on our Advent calendar?
Mash the bananas. Add the plant-based milk, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vinegar.
Next, add the flour, sugar, baking soda, yeast, and salt. Mix with a spatula.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Divide the dough in two (not equally, a bit more on one side than the other).
Melt the chocolate and add it to the smaller portion of the dough. Add the vanilla to the larger half of the dough.
Lightly oil your loaf pan. Pour a layer of vanilla batter. Place dollops of chocolate batter spaced evenly along the length of the loaf. Cover with the vanilla batter and continue alternating layers until both batters are finished. Sprinkle the top with crushed hazelnuts.
Bake for 45 minutes (check the cooking by inserting the tip of a knife, if it comes out dry, it's done).
